University Representation

Michelle Abadie has been selected to serve on A+PEL's Board of Directors as the 2009-2010 University Representative.  Michelle is a student teacher at Joseph Davies Elementary in Meraux, LA.  She will graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this December.  We are incredibly proud to have Michelle on our Board, and we know she will serve our organization with enthusiasm and passion.

Preparing for final exams

The Fall semester is winding down and final exams are right around the corner. Here are some effective study tactics:
• Limit study time to two hours at a time. Shorter, more frequent study periods are ideal.
• Study during the day. Natural light is advantageous.
• Utilize the 30-3-2 schedule—study for 30 minutes, break for 3, review for 2.
• Study in a peaceful, comfortable, large area. Remove all materials not necessary for studying.
• Study alone.

How do I get involved?

 Attend Meetings!

All are welcome to attend A+PEL chapter meetings.  Members may bring guests and any non-member may attend.  Local chapters meet to share experiences and lend support to one another.  Please come and check out our chapters.
